Cynthia Louise Bissett is the vice president for mobile operators Verizon. Her father was businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an internet network company. In the context of a Catholic family her family was raised in Manhattan's Upper East Side. She was enrolled by her parents at the Convent of the Sacred Heart which was a prestigious, religious and elite school. Since she was young she was an avid music fan. She began to play piano at a very early age and wrote her first song of original composition at age thirteen. She participated in open-mic nights. Her most favored artists included David Bowie, Madonna and Queen Michael Jackson. She took music classes at the Tisch School of Art of New York University after completing her high school education. But, following high school she chose to pursue a career in music and resigned from her study.
